Green Territory - Gameplay UI Is Done
Hey you there, listen, this is important!
Nah, just kidding :)
Major part of gameplay UI is actually done, so I thought it would be nice to share. With every type of building implemented (and now controlled thanks to the UI) this game is actually playable. I gave it to my Most Important Playtester™ and a short 15-minutes session of watching provided me with not one, not two, but nine bullet points to fix or improve. Playtesting is huge and is very important.
So my plans for the next couple of weeks is to fix all those problems and bugs before starting on the next feature. There is no point of adding new stuff when existing stuff is barely working, right? :)
But even so, at this point in the project lifecycle it starts to feel like I’m really really close to releasing the very first playable demo. But as the experience shows these feelings are usually underestimations, so I don’t want to give any false hopes.
Bugfixing and improvements aren’t really fun, so I’m not sure if I’m gonna post anything until the next feature. But time will show.
